The "Stibile"

In 2016, Kurt Steurer created a true masterpiece of South Tyrolean craftsmanship: the "Stibile". It is considered a collector's item for your home, as its design harks back to the authenticity and connection to the traditional South Tyrolean farmhouse parlors. For this achievement, Kurt Steurer, the interior expert and designer from Pustertal, was awarded the Design Award.

The "Stibile" has not only found favor among private clients but has also been implemented in the Allianz Arena in Munich.

A masterpiece of South Tyrolean craftsmanship

The timeless artistry of craftsmanship still holds relevance in modern architecture, provided one works at the cutting edge.

Kurt Steurer has succeeded in creating an object that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity.

The "Stibile" is consciously inspired by the farming traditions of yesteryears. The parlor was the intergenerational centerpiece of many families, providing warmth and coziness.

For this reason, the designer uses north-facing seasoned larch or spruce wood for his minimalist "Stibile," which fits into any living room in terms of size.

Restoring the coziness of old traditional farmer's parlors was very important to us.
